So your move is scheduled and it starts to snow, now what? Well if you can postpone that would be ideal but sometimes you just can not put it off. What you can do to minimize problems would be the following:
1. Shovel or have the driveway and walkways cleared.
2. Make sure you have a proper doormat so that the movers can wipe their feet before coming into your house.
3. Have floor runners on hand or ask the movers to bring them to protect the carpets and flooring.
4. Supply your movers with your own mattress and couch bags or ask for them to be brought on move day.
