In May of 1995 I hired Smoother Movers to move the contents of my three bedroom house in Vancouver. I was so impressed with their workers' professional attitudes, speed, and overall move efficiency that I have since used them on numerous moves for locations rented to "The X-Files".
Under the supervision of foreman Rob Christmas, Smoother Movers has been responsible for packing, moving and storing the contents of several homes in the greater Vancouver area ranging from rural farmhouses to high end mansions, in preparaton for filming. Their workers have then unpacked and accurately replaced belongings into the houses upon completion of filming.
Smoother Movers has also done moving work for "The X-Files" at industrial sites, such as BC Childrens' and Womens' Health Center. The film liaison, Barb Faerge, phoned me to say how impressed she had been with Rob and his moving crew and the work they had done.
